Here's a listing of some of the astronomical things happening in 2012, and outreaches that are regularly scheduled. Consider the times for the outreach events to be tentative until you get the "official" outreach email for that month. The Lunar Xs are for you, Tim.

The really big event that we'll need volunteers for is Astronomy Day on Saturday, April 28, being held at Camino Real Marketplace. There will be a Museum Astronomy Day, inside the walls, on August 11.

Other biggies are the partial solar eclipse May 20 and the transit of Venus June 5.

Telescope Tuesdays have moved to the fourth Tuesday of the month from January through October, and the third Tuesdays of November and December.

Also note the move of the March meeting to the *second* Friday, March 9, so we won't compete with the Museum Gala.

RTMC is on Memorial Day weekend this year.

No date set for the Avocado Festival or CalStar as yet.
